Volunteer Roles
Where You're Needed
Welcome & Wayfinding
Staff the entrance, greet attendees, hand out programs, and help people find their way around the venue. The first face of the festival.
Full day preferred
Author Hospitality
Assist authors and speakers — help them get settled, escort them between spaces, and make sure they have everything they need throughout the day.
Full day preferred
Stage & Programming Support
Help manage audience flow for panels and readings, assist with Q&A, and support the programming team in keeping sessions on schedule.
Half or full day
Vendor & Author Alley
Support the vendor marketplace and Author Alley — help vendors set up, assist with logistics, and keep the space running smoothly.
Half or full day
Youth Programming
Assist with family and youth activities, help facilitate workshops, and support the educators and librarians leading programming for younger attendees.
Half or full day
Social Media & Documentation
Capture the day through photos and video, post to festival social channels, and help document the inaugural year for our archives.
Full day preferred
Setup & Breakdown
Help the team set up the venue the day before and break down after the festival closes. Physical work, great team energy.
