Kaylen Lafferty

Kaylen Lafferty is a Registered Veterinary Technician and author who has been an animal lover her entire life — so much so that she dedicated her career to animals and is currently pursuing certification as a dog trainer.

Her debut book, Canis, Book One: Alone, is the start of a series that is both an entertaining read and a look into the way dogs think, how they got to where they are today, and the profound impact they have on families and mental as well as physical health. Kaylen believes that while we may not deserve the love that dogs give us, that love changes us for the better.
