Every Genre Welcome. Every Application Reviewed.
The Greater Central Valley Book Fest is building its inaugural roster of authors, illustrators, poets, and storytellers. If you have a story to share, we want to hear from you.
Who Should Apply
This Festival Is for Every Kind of Storyteller
We are not curating a narrow slice of literary culture. The Greater Central Valley Book Fest is built on the belief that stories take every form — and that every form deserves a stage. Whether you write picture books or literary fiction, graphic novels or narrative nonfiction, poetry or screenplays, you belong here.
We especially welcome authors and artists from the Central Valley and surrounding communities, debut authors alongside established voices, and storytellers whose work reflects the full diversity of California's people and places.
